Word association task

In this task, you will see words on the screen, one at a time. For each word, you will have a short time to respond in one of two ways:

1. When the word is GREEN, give as many words as you can think of that are SIMILAR to or ASSOCIATED with the shown word.
2. When the word is RED, give as many words as you can think of that are DIFFERENT from or UNRELATED to the shown word.

For example:

• If you see 'HAMSTER' in GREEN, you might say: "cat, pet, soft, fur"
• If you see 'CHAIR' in RED, you might say: "ocean, star, melody, volcano"

Speak your answers out loud. Try to give as many responses as you can before the next word appears. The task will alternate between green and red words. Please try not to repeat words in this task.
